To-Do-List for a long overlanding trip

It’s no small undertaking to remove yourself from “normal” life and go live on the road in foreign countries for multiple years.  So many little details you have to plan for – how to renew your car registration while out of the country, who will take care of your mail, and what about health insurance, school for your kids, getting local currency?  The list goes on…

In case this could be of help to future travelers, I made a copy of my To-Do list, trimmed down a little and removing our personal info:

Of course you could leave on a big trip and not bother with lots of this stuff – everyone is different!  Let me know if this is helpful or if there are glaring errors/omissions.
